Who runs this site

Talal Bouroki, trading as Jana Audio, a sole proprietor in Kuwait. Contact: hello@janaaudio.com. This site is published at janaaudio.com. Apart from the pages at pay.janaaudio.com that start a purchase and manage your licences, it is the only site we publish.

The Jana 965 is not on sale yet. The pages at pay.janaaudio.com open on the day it is, and until then what this site says about buying, licences and accounts describes how they will work.

Privacy on this site

No cookies. No analytics. No trackers. No JavaScript.

That is not a policy summary, it is the whole of it, and it is a property of how these pages are built rather than a promise about how they are used:

• These pages set no cookies and use no other browser storage.
• There is no analytics on these pages: no counters, no pixels, no fingerprinting, and nothing that follows you from page to page.
• There is no JavaScript on any page of this site, and nothing runs in your browser. Each page carries a short block of structured data that describes the page to search engines. It is text for them to read, not a program: it does nothing in your browser and loads nothing.
• Nothing is loaded from anyone else's server. Typefaces, images and stylesheets all come from this domain, so no third party learns that you were here.
• There are no forms, so there is nothing to submit and nothing collected.

The account pages at pay.janaaudio.com, where you sign in to manage your licences, are not part of this site. They set one cookie, strictly necessary, to keep you signed in; the privacy notice says what it holds and when it ends.

The web host that serves these files keeps ordinary request logs, as every web host does, and those are used to serve the site and keep it up. From them the host shows us totals only: how many requests and visitors the site had, and from which countries. Nothing is added to the pages to produce those totals, and they do not tell us who you are.

If you email us, we keep the email, because that is what a reply needs. We do not add the address to anything. Ask us to delete the correspondence and we will.

There is one exception, and only if you ask for it: write to us with the subject "Tell me at release" and we keep your address only to send you one message on the day the Jana 965 is released. We delete it once that message is sent, or sooner if you ask.

Typefaces

Set in IBM Plex Sans and IBM Plex Sans Arabic, by Mike Abbink and Bold Monday, and by Wael Morcos, Khajag Apelian and Bold Monday, under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. The font file this site serves is the original, unmodified and unrenamed, rewrapped for the web. "Plex" is a reserved font name and a trademark of IBM; it is not ours and we do not use it in our own names.

Images

Every image on this site is our own render of our own panel, produced by our own tools. No third-party photograph or artwork is used, traced or sampled anywhere on it.

Names

"Jana Audio", "Jana 965", "965A", "J15" and "Golden Unit Series" are our own company and product names, used here on our own site. No other company's marks or model names appear on this site.
